Now that Christmas has passed, I can share the knitted throw I gifted this year. I call it my "Firestone" throw and the pattern was a pleasure to follow. It was hard to give it away as it is the perfect thing to throw over your shoulders or lap on a chilly evening. Add a warm cup of tea and good chick flick and you have the perfect night (well, if you are one who enjoys chick flicks).Here's the skinny:

Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky in Spice
Time Elapsed: Hard to say - I bought the yarn in January and didn't start knitting until July. The bulk of the project was knit over three weeks.
Modifications/Notes: I omitted the fringe as I thought it looked higher-class without it. It was an easy repeating pattern that took little concentration, so I was able to enjoy some of my favorite Christmas movies as I knit.

And. The throw. You make me want to knit again! I love everything about it. The color, the pattern (I think ditching the tassels was very wise), and even your yarn selection. I made a baby blanket from the same kind and loved working with it.
